Let’s Do Lunch: Souper Jenny in Atlanta

What started as a small Atlanta food stand has since grown into four neighborhood cafes in Brookhaven, 巴克海特, Decatur and the latest Westside location— all open six days a week! Souper Jenny recently moved their flagship Buckhead cafe into the 亚特兰大历史中心‘s beautiful 33-acre campus!

As you may have guessed, Souper Jenny has a variety of hot soups (up to six each day!) available throughout the cooler months, two sandwiches and two to four salads. During the warmer months, the restaurants scale back on hot soups and offer more chilled options.

Souper Jenny also offers gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan items every day, with rotating menus to keep customers satisfied and excited! In the Atlanta area cafes, you can find favorites like turkey chili, chicken tortilla soup, the club sandwich, ripe avocado pita, big Greek salad and Chef Jessica’s broccoli slaw, among many others. You can also find a staff of positive, energetic and quick servers that always greet you with a smile.

The entire mission statement of this Atlanta area staple is to nourish the community through fresh food and leave you coming back for more— which is likely why their success keeps building! As I mentioned above, Souper Jenny moved their flagship Buckhead cafe to the sprawling 亚特兰大历史中心 last April, sharing its new 4,000 square foot space with the History Center’s expanded bookstore and gift shop.

The cafe located in the History Center is open seven days a week and effortlessly highlights owner Jenny Levison’s unparalleled dining style, decor and experience— everything that makes this a must-visit Atlanta locale! This cafe offers all of the traditional Souper Jenny’s favorites, according to what is fresh in the local market, along with dinners to go, organic juices, gluten-free desserts and a full coffee bar with Batdorf & Bronson coffees and locally made treats. This new location can be accessed through its own West Paces Ferry Road entrance or through the 亚特兰大历史中心‘s main entrance.
