February is Cancer Prevention Month – A Message from Jill Heineck
In honor of Cancer Prevention Month, I want to take a moment to remind you how important it is to prioritize your health and advocate for yourself and your family. As a six-time cancer survivor, I know firsthand the impact of early detection, proactive health care, and self-care.
📽️ Watch my 45-second video above for a quick but important reminder about the small steps you can take to protect your health.
Here are a few key ways to stay on top of your well-being:
✅ Get Screened & Stay on Schedule – Make those doctor appointments and ask about essential tests to establish a baseline for your health. Early detection saves lives.
✅ Fuel Your Body & Mind – Prioritize good nutrition, hydration, quality sleep, and regular movement. Small daily habits make a big difference.
✅ Reduce Stress & Set Boundaries – It’s OK to say “no” to some things so you can say “yes” to yourself. Self-care isn’t selfish—it’s necessary.
I can’t stress this enough: Your health is your greatest asset. Take charge, get checked, and make choices that support your well-being.
