Don’t Miss The Iberian Pig in Decatur!

Metro Atlanta is a hub of culture, history, entertainment, and of course, restaurants galore! Right outside your door is a whole world of different cuisines to explore, from South African at 10 Degrees South and Cape Dutch to Italian at Novo Cucina in Dunwoody and brunch at Buttermilk Kitchen. This week, I want to be positive that you know about this delicious gem, the Iberian Pig in the square in Decatur. It is to die!

In addition to being in the heart of Decatur, the main attraction of the Pig is the tapas selection. The menu brings together traditional Spanish flavors with a modern flair. If you eat nothing else on this menu, you MUST have the bacon-wrapped Medjool dates with manchego cheese. Oh my god. And be sure to pair it with one of the amazing wines, like Spain’s “Les Mines” Merlot Priorat or Argentina’s Pulenta Estate Pinot Gris.

The wine list is ever-changing and includes selections from Spain, Chile, and Argentina. Enjoy a glass at the lively bar, or try one of the Iberian Pig’s signature creations like the Jane, made with red bell pepper juice, lemon and hints of dill and cardamom. Amaze.
